I have to apoligize. I still haven't figured out how to scan onto my laptop and I haven't uploaded any new pics in a very long time.
My house is full of boys, all boy, boys. I have had several headaches lately so I, as much as I hate it, turn on the TV in the morning, lay on the couch and let the boys do their thing. Well, last week or so I heard them break the child knob off the pantry door and by the time I sat up and looked to see what they had, they were throwing finger paints on my carpet. It looks like very colorful puke in about a 5x4 foot area in my living room. When I screamed for them not to move, Ben took off running through the living, leaving purple foot prints as he went. Oh my! I wanted hardwood floors, but not for 5 or so more years. Rian was of course out of town so I called him and the first thing I said was "Please don't be mad" he laughed! When he came home, he told me to let them paint the whole room and just pretend it was supposed to be like that. I don't think I could handle that, but it's really not in our budget to redo the floors right now.
I have to admit, that, was just fluff. I am so excited about my doctors appointment today, I had to talk about the twins first. And they are ALL BOY! Anyway, I took the boys to the doctor with me today so they could see the baby. They know Mama has a baby in her belly, and understand as much as a 2 year old can, so I thought this might help something click. Rian was coming from work to meet us there and of course there was an accident on 69 and he was late. Fortunately, the doctor is always late as well. We went into the ultrasound room and I put the boys in the chair and told them to watch the TV and they were going to show a movie of the baby. I told the tech we want to know the gender but we wanted to guess first. When I was pregnant with the twins the tech was still spreading the gel around my belly and ask us. We said yes and she said boys! That was all, no showing us, just very direct. So we didn't want that to happen again. We saw the head and the brain, which I think is so cool! Rian got there when we moved to the belly. Heart looks good, belly looks good. Everything is wonderful. Then, oh boy, there it is! It's a boy! Apparently, I am not meant to have girls. I thought I wanted a girl, but I am so happy to know that it's a boy. Maybe just because I don't have to say "it" again. I can say HE! We have a few names in thought, but that will be a surprise in about 4 1/2 months.
Now that we know I get to start painting and planning. I am stupidly enthusiastic about buying cloth diapers. I cloth diapered the twins from about 2 months at home only and love my Bum Genius 3.0s. But I want this one in cloth all the time. I have done more research and found Nubunz, an American Made, cloth diaper small company. They are clearancing the old stash in order to envail the new stash. But the clearance is $4.75 per diaper which includes 2 inserts. Like I said, I am stupidly enthusiastic about the subject and have a feeling I am going to end up with 15 different kinds of diapers this time. If anyone is interested I will be doing reviews of any and all diapers that I try. Just for fun.

Exciting changes
My life is ever changing, especially with 2 year olds running around the house. Let's start with the boys...
Miles is talking up a storm, he finally broke his silence and is pronouncing words so much better and making real sentences. He is so smart, he knows all his letters and even spelled "HAT" in the bath last night. He doesn't like to count so he says "one, one, one there's three!" He is my water baby. When we go to the neighbourhood pool he wants to jump right in. He is adventuring in the shallow end all by himself and has no problem getting his face wet and going underwater. He loves to read and is starting to fight taking a nap more and more. I think he might stop napping soon and just start reading.
Ben is a chatty Kathy. He is a mocking bird. I have to admit that I lost my temper and said some things that I regret, and of course, Ben picked right up on that and was telling everyone "Mommy hates this bleeep couch!" Oops I am glad it was short lived. We didn't make a big deal of it and he forgot. He knows all his letters, but loves B. He can count to 20 all by himself. He is also starting to play by himself! (finally) He knows his full name and introduces everyone everywhere we go. Walking into the doctors lobby he goes up to everyone and says "I'm Ben and this is Miles and this is Mama and this is Daddy." It is so cute.
Rian is still is school and doing well. He hates it though and wishes it were over. I am still planning to go back to school when he is finished although I am not sure where yet.
And now for the biggest change...we found out in April that we are expecting baby #3 in January. Well, probably December. I am the luckiest pregnant woman ever, this is completely different from the boys. I have had no morning sickness although a little nausea. I just want to sleep and eat all the time. This was completely unexpected, but we couldn't be happier. Of course we are hoping for a girl (which the Chinese gender chart says is true) but will be happy with a healthy baby. I have been craving cheese and eggs, so I have put the vegan lifestyle on hold and keeping steady with just vegetarian until I get the craving under control. I am already doing some extra research in cloth diapers. I used cloth with the boys at home, but used disposables while out. My goal is to use zero disposables on the new baby. (fingers crossed)
Well, that's all my news for now. I will try to update in between naps and snacks. :)
